InDesign Thoughts

Five things that we did in InDesign

- While using the InDesign application, we learned how to upscale, downscale, change the type color as well as using formal Fonts to create the Gestalt Principles.

- Most designs were to experiment with Continuity, Closure, Similarity, Block Set and Proximity. These are some of what is called Gestalt principles. Using these allowed to create very cool designs.

- We practiced how type can create abstract designs that have a unique image and show the techniques of rotating, reduced, enlarge, but not altering the type.

- We used overlapping and using the Arrow/Hand tool to move type and letters to position it correctly.

- We also learned how to use the same font but different type sizing to create a block set type. This also consisted with kerning, leading and tracking.
